Sarcomatosis cutis

Sarcomas are malignant connective tissue tumors which may have their origin in any organ of the body and are only occasionaly primary, but not infrequently secondary, in the skin. Sarcomatous tumors occasionally, though rarely, attain the size of an orange. They are usually sessile and hemispheroidal or lobulated and may be firm and elastic or somewhat doughy and compressible. They are at times slightly tender.
