These photos were sent to us by Marco Brivio, who shot them on-site
in Pashupatinath, Nepal. The sequence depicts the cremation of a Nepalese
man, still a common traditional practice in India and Nepal.

We'd like to thank Marco for the interesting photos. Most of the images
we have of this subject matter tend to be from the late 19th to early
20th century, often marketed to tourists to send home as postcards. In any
event, it's nice to see modern ones.
